Teuk Thla Market and Alan Lightmans' arrival

All week we have been waiting to go to the Teuk Thla Market. Friday arrived and at 6:30 am we met Len outside in the courtyard to begin our walk to the market. The streets were busy with motos and autos, Cambodians traveling to work and to school. Underprivileged girls  from the countryside are sent to work in sewing houses in extremely  difficult conditions.
Upon our arrival, the market was full of vendors setting up to sell fish, meats and vegetables. Wide eyed and thankful we were thankful to Len and Sodalin for navigating and escorting us as we chose the dormitory's meals for the next three days.

With the anticipation of "Dad" aka Alan Lightmans' arrival the girls carefully choose dishes to please him. Catfish, lily greens and Alan's favorite, the giant Japanese green bean.
